The Power of Inner season

Updated: Oct 13, 2025
In nature, everything is cyclical. The seasons follow one another without haste, each with its own reason for being. Spring awakens, summer radiates, autumn releases, and winter renews. What if, at 50 or beyond, we learned to listen to our inner seasons with the same kindness?
Autumn – Discernment
The energy shifts… and we feel it deeply. We sort, we simplify. It’s not a loss, but a natural selection. The inner autumn is a time to release what no longer nourishes us, to keep only what matters — what still holds meaning.
Winter – Re-centering
Winter is not an end. It’s a return. A period of introspection, listening, and deep rest. Beneath the surface, life is already preparing for renewal. Accepting our winters means honoring our need for pause — the right to slow down, to reflect, to be rather than to do.
Spring – Momentum
It’s the season of ideas, desires, and projects. We feel inspired, curious, ready to try new things. The inner spring is that moment when we say, “Why not?”It awakens our desire to grow, to explore, to dare.
Summer – Fulfillment
It’s the season of vitality and confidence. What we have sown begins to bear fruit. We act with assurance, we harvest, we savor. It’s a time for presence, warmth, and sharing.
Recognizing our inner seasons means allowing ourselves to live at our own rhythm — not the one imposed by the outside world.
Each season has its own beauty, its purpose, its gift. And often, by respecting this natural rhythm,we rediscover vitality, clarity… and inner peace.
And you? Which inner season are you in right now?
